The Philippine Coast Guard Support System Foundation, Inc. is dedicated to supporting the Coast Guard Community through healthcare, education, and relief through dynamic humanitarian services anchored in hope, sailing for humanity.
OUR OBJECTIVE
The primary objective of the Philippine Coast Guard Support System Foundation, Inc. is to support the Coast Guard Community by emphasizing humanitarian assistance and opportunities for their improvement through initiatives in healthcare, education, and relief efforts, the foundation aims to strengthen the Coast Guard’s dedication in the service to the Filipino Nation, Anchored in Hope, Sailing for Humanity.
OUR MILESTONES
- 03 December 2025 – Ceremonial Blessing of the new PCG Foundation Building in Coast Guard Base Taguig with Vice Admiral Edgar L Ybañez PCG, Deputy Commandant for Operations graced the event with his inspirational speech together with a video message of Honorable Christopher “Bong” Go, Senator of the Republic of the Philippines. Present in the event are Commodore Christopher D Auro PCG, President of the foundation and Vice Admiral Robert N Patrimonio PCG, Commander of the Maritime Security Law Enforcement Command.
- 27 March 2024 – Ground Breaking Ceremony of the approved PCG Foundation Building that will be constructed in Headquarters, Maritime Security Law Enforcement Command, Coast Guard Taguig Base. The event was hailed by CG VADM ROBERT N PATRIMONIO, Commander, HMARSLEC and CG RADM ALLEN J DALANGIN, Deputy Commander, HMARSLEC.
- 15 January 2024 – CG ADM RONNIE GIL L GAVAN, approved the proposal of the Board of Directors and appointed a new Executive Director to assist in the implementation of all projects and further expand the foundation nationwide and abroad.
- December 2023– CG CDR BENEDICTO BARTOLOME opened a new foundation Land Bank Account to ensure proper safety deposit and audit.
- 27 March 2023 – Board Resolution Nr 2023-01 PCGSSF NEW officers were elected, spearheaded by CG CAPT CHRISTOPHER D AURO as new President.
- 25 March 2022 – Board Resolution Nr 2022-03 PCGSSF officers were elected.
- 22 September 2021 – Registered in the National Health Insurance Program (NHIP).
- 19 July 2021 – The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Certificate of Registration is approved.
- 15 July 2021 – Philippine Coast Guard Support System Foundation, Inc. (PCG Foundation) was incorporated and approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
- 17 February 2021 – CG COMMO JOEVEN L FABUL as Treasurer in Trust of the foundation opened a Land Bank account for the required bond.
- 11 January 2021 – Securities and Exchange Commission approves the registry name of the Philippine Coast Guard Support System Foundation, Inc.
- 09 December 2020 – CG ADM GEORGE V URSABIA JR, former PCG Commandant approved the project to proceed.
- 05 November 2020 – On the initiative of CG RADM ARMANDO A BALILO, Coast Guard Public Affairs requested the creation of PCG Malasakit Foundation, Inc.

ANNUAL PROJECTS
- Medical Missions. Involve organized efforts by healthcare professionals and volunteers to provide medical services, treatments, and healthcare resources to underserved communities, often in remote or disadvantaged areas, to improve access to healthcare and address medical needs.
- Charity Grants. Financial awards are provided by organizations or individuals to support nonprofit initiatives and projects that aim to address social issues, improve communities, and make a positive impact on society.
- Scholarship Grants. Financial awards given to individuals based on their academic achievements, talents, or specific criteria, to support their educational pursuits and help them attain their academic goals.
- Feeding Program. A coordinated effort that provides nutritious meals to individuals, particularly those in need, to address hunger and promote food security in communities.
- Disaster Relief. The immediate and coordinated efforts aimed at providing assistance, support, and resources to individuals and communities affected by natural or man-made disasters.
- Emergency Response. involves the prompt and organized actions taken to address and mitigate the impacts of unexpected events or crises, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals and communities.
- Temporary Shelters. Short-term housing solutions are designed to provide immediate and basic accommodation for individuals or communities in need, typically during times of crisis or displacement.
- Potable Water Stations. Mobile units equipped with filtration systems that provide clean and safe drinking water in areas lacking access to reliable water sources.
- Community Team Building. Fostering unity and resilience through collaborative activities for coastal communities.
- Awards and Recognitions. Acknowledge and honor individuals or organizations for their exceptional achievements, contributions, or excellence in a particular field, serving as a testament to their outstanding accomplishments and positive impact.
- Team Fellowship. A dedicated group of individuals gathering together for strategic planning and working together to foster unity, support, and collaboration towards a common goal.
- Blood Donation Drive. Active and physically fit members of the Philippine Coast Guard regularly donate blood for patients in need.
- Coastal Clean-up. Organized efforts to remove litter, debris, and pollutants from coastal areas, promoting environmental conservation and preserving the health of marine ecosystems.
- Tree Planting. The deliberate act of planting and nurturing trees to enhance environmental sustainability, combat deforestation, and promote the overall health of ecosystems.
- Coast Guard Workshop. Comprehensive training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in maritime safety, search and rescue operations, and environmental protection.
OUR HISTORY
Established on January 11, 2021 the founding members of the Philippine Coast Guard Support System Foundation are individuals who recognized the importance of supporting the Philippine Coast Guard in its mission to promote corporate social responsibility through strengthened humanitarian services. These individuals came together with a shared vision and commitment to enhancing PCG’s corporate social responsibility.
The founding members bring diverse backgrounds and expertise to the foundation. They include maritime industry professionals, philanthropists, government officials, and individuals with a deep passion for maritime safety, environmental conservation, and humanitarian services. Their collective knowledge and experience contribute to the strategic direction and initiatives of the foundation.
Through their dedication and support, the founding members have played a crucial role in establishing a strong foundation for the organization. Their commitment to the mission and vision of the foundation has paved the way for the ongoing efforts to support the PCG’s corporate social responsibility and positively impact humanitarian services in the Philippines.
